Just curious to find out if anyone else has seen this problem. I installed the Woopra Mediawiki plugin (admittedly a beta) in my Mediawiki 1.12 installation (admittedly an old one...) and found that it breaks the Special pages: they won't display when the extension is enabled in LocalSettings.php. Comment it out and they return immediately.

If anyone's found a way around this, I wouldn't mind hearing about it. :)

It does not break my special pages; it actually tracks everything well. However, I commented it out too (note, I didn't delete it yet) because it was doubling the page load time. If this can be fixed I would be thrilled to un-comment it. However, "waiting for onesci.woopra...." is not worth annoying my visitors or myself at the moment.

  • Are you using the latest version of the Woopra JavaScript? The newest Woopra version has been totally rewritten including the server script. I'd love to get your input on how it works for you now. We're getting reports that it is faster than Google Analytics.

With so many websites based upon JavaScript, AJAX, etc, Woopra's script is microscopic. So we'd love your feedback on the new version.
