    URL is http://www.abcpetservices.com

For quite a while, actually since day number 2 after adding it to my account, the stats are not working at all as in not showing up.

I did test to make sure my IP wasn't blocked and went through a proxy service which assigned a different IP and it was still not showing any live visitor or hits.

  • Please update your Woopra JavaScript. https://www.woopra.com/members/settings/setup.jsp That should resolve the issue. And ensure it is the last thing to load at the bottom before the closing BODY HTML tag, per installation instructions. Thanks.

I was using the script from Blueball domains (in your links to downloads for Joomla) as it was handy in excluding my site visits which the Desktop client for Mac doesn't want to do at this stage (BTW - any ideas on when we can get an update?), anyway, I uninstalled that and put in the one from Rocketwerks and it is doing fine, except counting my front end visits. :(

As a side note, I manually edited the Blueball domains script to include the new script you are pointing to and it didn't work so, not 100% sure why it didn't. Two files, the PHP and the XML (Which was for the admin side). The PHP was simply the code for the script you want us to use.

In any event, got it working now.

  • Glad you got it working. To exclude your visits, set it in the Woopra Desktop Client under Manage > Excludes.

We do not support Blueball or Joomla scripts, so hopefully, someone will be able to update and fix those issues. The manual method of installing Woopra, especially the new script, is simple and easy and available for all sites which permit the use of JavaScript.

Thanks for letting up know and keeping us updated!

    Lorelle -

I did do the exclude in my Desktop client, and a strange thing happens, it excludes everyone. I was working live on the site and had someone outside of my IP attempt to access, and it didn't record them.

I went ahead and re-enabled the tracking of my IP and it is fine now, so I am letting it just do the collection for now including me.

  • That's really odd. Did you use a wildcard or the exact IP?

  • We just tested your site and everything is working correctly. I see the updated JavaScript in place and when we tested the Woopra Desktop Client, it tracked our visits through your site.

Do you have a firewall installed or something that changed in your security that would stop Woopra from accessing the web?
