    After reading above introduction of Woopra I felt like why some one will creates one more Analytics tool to compete to Google Analytics. Google Analytics is already providing some of those features which woopra is going to provide so what’s use. But then I felt “people are not fool to compete with Google giving same functionally like Google Analytics”. it has to be some thing more then that. So I decided to give a look at woopra features

    Here is list of Woopra Analytics Features

    * Live Tracking
    * Rich Interface
    * Visitor Tagging
    * Instance Messaging
    * Real Time Analytics
    * Custom Notification
    * Developer Tool

    For a second If you give a thought on features of woopra then you will be more happier With Woopra then Google analytics

    Real Time Analytics – if you have ever created your blog then u might know how much impartment is to read the minds of your probable visitor and this feature just added extra bits to Your visitor controlling capability

    I loved Instance Messaging of Woopra. Think of this your site visitor is looking at your blog post and from woopra you can instantly message him and get feedback about your blog or Article he was reading. This is going to be revolutionary in blogging aspects.

    Developer tool Today every new services has some kind of API to allow developers to code their creativity and create tools, gadgets, widget or give more fine touch with their own specifications and customization which helps non tech-no as well as techno bloggers

    I am eager to experience Woopra Analytics can’t wait for long :P

    Visualising the tagged visitors route within the site would be a fancy feature! Just like generating general reports on the avarage route of the visits as well.

    by using google analytics you can download the u..js file daily to your *nix (and and) server and load it from there.. is this possible with the woopra .js, too? maybe a stupid question.. but not to ask would be more stupid, maybe.

  • There are many download - export options in Woopra. Look for the export option in the right upper corner of the various panels under Analytics. Is that what you are talking about?

    Hi Lorelle,

    not really, but it sure depends on my bad english. Let me try to explain it better (i hope i can ;) ); Before using woopra i used google analytics (and will never use them again, cause woopra rocks even its still beta, but i do "love" it); i had a shell script with cron, that fetched the ga.js daily (and the newer one ua..) to my server and i changed the google analytics code to load the ga.js file from my server which gives them all some performance improvements - and i just wonder if that is possible with woopra, too? If not, it doesn`t matter, like my private tests showed me, woopra server is really fast.

    have a nice day
