wordpress plugin - Your query returned 0 results. Click here to retry again!

  • I'm using wordpress 2.5.1
woopra plugin 1.3.1 - 1.3.4 all show this error:
    "Your query returned 0 results.
However the desktop client works well (all keys are correct).

NOTE - this is my second site. The first site works well on the SAME hosting server using worpress plugin 1.3.1. Does the plugin support *multiple* sites on the same woopra account? Yes, they have different site IDs and different API keys. Yes the desktop client app is working well so the plugin is sending tracking data.

NOTE - my timezone is GMT +9, (pushes me into the next day) are queries failing because of that?

NOTE!! I just noticed today that the woopra website members area online analytics at http://www.woopra.com/members/analytics.jsp also shows the SAME ERROR MSG. for both of my sites.

Let me know if I can help test in any way or provide more info. In summary:
    1. My site yokosukachurch.com has the plugin 1.3.1 installed and works great. I love it! I think this will be one of the most popular wordpress plugins and drive people to woopra once it gets stabilized.

    2. My website ygbc.org has plugin 1.3.4 installed and sends stats (desktop client works) but the admin page shows only the error message above.

    3. Both sites show a blank first page and then the error message above when trying to view stats for them on the woopra website members area analytics page.

  • Thank you raymer for your report.

I'm investigating to see what could be going wrong, knowing that you have the right API Key.

    Hi,

I have the same problem and wanted to post on this thread. (I already posted on another.) Wordpress 2.6.2 and Woopra 1.3.4 -- stats appear in the desktop client and I get "Your query returned 0 results.
Click here to retry again!" when trying to access stats via the WP dashboard or the Woopra site.

    Posted 2 months ago #
  • Well I have some more sites now with the wordpress plugin installed. Now out of 5 sites with WP 2.5.x - 2.6.x and woopra plugin 1.3.4 installed only the first site works!

Yes, the IDs are correct - the client app works. I hope you guys can get the wordpress plugin working soon!

Same issue here. There seems to be multiple threads on this topic.

    WP version 2.6.2
    Woopra plugin version 1.3.4

All good with the CLIENT stats.
No stats available through WP dashboard (Your query returned 0 results.)
No stats available online at Woopra member area (Your query returned no results)

Ok it looks like that I find the right theme. Well I am trying to figure out what is wrong I already write in this post:

    http://www.woopra.com/forums/topic/wordpress-install

Well I have woopra plugin installed, I set the api and id code, but I don't have any stats in analytics.

    Posted 2 months ago #
  • This thread is staying pretty clear. Let's keep the signal/noise ratio good please. The problem still exists for many (almost all?) users that the wordpress plugin installs and sends data to the client app just fine, but does not correctly show analytics data in the wordpress admin console:
    http://mydomain/wp-admin/index.php?page=woopra-analytics#
Please stay on this topic so support can fix it!

I have several sites which use wordpress (2.5.1 and 2.6.2) and which I have installed the woopra plugin (1.3.4).
    1. http://www.yokosukachurch.com - the plugin works great! analytics show up in the wp admin console!
    2. http://www.ygbc.org - no analytics show! only the error msg "Your query returned 0 results. Click here to retry again!"

NOTE! these two sites are hosted on the SAME server at pair.com and running exactly the same wp version, etc! I cannot find any significant difference in the setups and yet one site works and one doesn't???

All of my other sites show the same results as #2 - they don't show stats in wordpress. I am really glad #1 works - but why????

I agree Raymer. This thread is specific to one issue. The plugin is sending statistics to the client application, but we can not see any statistics within the WP dashboard or online via our account at Woopra.

Carli - no offense, but your situation is different since you are not getting any data at all - even sent to the client.

Yee! Just solve this problem, and I will be happy! :D

I just try to solve this by my self, that's why I ask those questions.

I see that data is sent to woopra static, but there is no statistic in woopra desktop aplication or in woopra members area, so if I get this theme right we have the same problem.

    Carli,
About 20 hours ago over at your other thread, one of the moderators stated that the problem is that your new subdomain is not being tracked. You can not submit a domain to Woopra (during this beta) and just switch the domain. You have to submit that new domain (even though it is a sub-domain) to Woopra for approval and inclusion in the beta.

Three days ago, I provided the same advice (in your other thread). (I thought that could be the problem).

Note: I'm a novice with Woopra - so I'm not an expert and will not be able to answer many questions.

If this is not your issue, you'll need to clarify what the problem is.

You state that you are not getting ANY ANALYTICS at all, this thread is for people who get data in the desktop client, but are not getting data online at the Woopra member area or the WP dashboard.

As far as I can tell, you're not in that category. We don't know what "woopra static" is.

Are you getting data in the WP dashboard? That would mean you are getting data in the WP dashboard, not in the online member area and not in the desktop client - which I think would deserve it's own thread.

This is only if the creation of your sub-domain is not the issue - which probably is the issue.

    Blah!

I allready read that sub-domain is one of the problems, and yes if domain is different, woopra don't get any data from page. Data is sent to static.woopra.com (that's why woopra static). And yes if the domain is right I get data in desktop client, but there is no data in wordpress plugin or. in members area, etc.

And it seams that desktop client is working fine, after I update java and reinstall the client, I don't know if there is any connection.

    Sory for misunderstanding ...

Therefore, you have the same issue as all of us. Data showing up in the desktop client, and no data online in the members section or in the WP dashboard.

Right now, if I try to access data online via Woopra members section, I'm getting a different message.

"Live Woopra Web Analytics is currently undergoing construction and updates. Please refer to the Woopra application or Woopra WordPress Plugin as we work to make Woopra even better"

So they are working on something. Getting the same "zero results" in the WP dashboard.

It would be nice to hear from the team on this one, but since we're only in beta and they only have a couple of developers, we'll probably need to wait.

Woopra team - we are assuming that you have all of the information that you need, and this has been identified as a real bug and not just a configuration problem or "user error".

We know that you are busy, but I we need to hear is "yes, you're right, there is an issue and we're working on it"

    Can you confirm?

This issue has been at the top of the list for quite a long time. Can Woopra provide an update?

    Posted 2 months ago #
  • Yes. Lorelle, is there any other info or help we can provide? It has been a couple of weeks since you said you were investigating this. I would really love to see the stats in the wordpress admin page start working.

    Posted 2 months ago #
  • This problem has been solved guys! please update your plugin.

The update did not solve the issue for me. Same exact problem. Does anything else need to be done other than updating the plugin? I just did the automatic upgrade within the dashboard.

The update did not solve the problem for me either. I updated the plugin in the dashboard. I still get the query returned zero results even with the new plugin. A bit of clarification, I am running wordpress 2.6.2 and woopra plugin version 1.3.6.

    Posted 1 month ago #
  • Dear Elie K,
I am the OP on this thread. I just updated the plugin to 1.3.6 on my site http://www.ygbc.org. The behaviour has not changed with the new version. None of the stats show in the admin console under Wordpress 2.5.1 however they show fine on my other site http://www.yokosukachurch.com which is hosted on the same server and uses the same version of wp, etc.

I am changing the thread from resolved to "not resolved" please let me know if you need more details about my setup. Many, many people are waiting to see a reliable plugin for wordpress! I have 5 sites waiting for it myself - only one of them works. Wish someone could tell me why...

    Elie K,
I understand that this product is in beta, but for you to announce that all problems that we are having are solved and marking this thread as resolved without actually checking with the OP or other users that are having this same issue concerns me.

I hope that will not be Woopra's SOP in the future.

At this point, Woopra seems to be a "cool thing" that works for some people but not for others. With the outages, it's not something that I would depend on for a primary solution yet and that is fine with me.

But again, to pronounce the issue resolved without checking with your beta testers that have reported the problem - and asked if we can provide more information to help you - leaves much to be desired,

Got the problem here as well. WP 2.6.2 and Woopra 1.3.6 plugin.
    * No stats in wordpress admin.
    * http://www.woopra.com/members/analytics.jsp keeps telling me 'Live Woopra Web Analytics is currently undergoing construction and updates. Please refer to the Woopra application or Woopra WordPress Plugin as we work to make Woopra even better'

Could this be a firewall issue? Does the plugin try to fetch data on a non-standard port perhaps?
